Content for junior infant class

The child should be enabled to:

  • Explore, discuss, develop and use the vocabulary of spatial relations such as position (over, under, up, down, on, beside, in), directions (moving in straight/curved lines, in a circle) and finding own space

Content for senior infant class

The child should be enabled to:

  • Explore, discuss, develop and use the vocabulary of spatial relations such as position (above, below, near, far, right, left), be able to stop and state your position, move direction (through the hoop, behind the mat) and be able to
    stop and describe your action
